With a 1Ghz CPU running alongside various other multimedia chips on the Qualcomm Snapdragon platform, the Toshiba TG01 is fast becoming the premier touchscreen smartphone. The Toshiba TG01 sports a massive, yet crisp and bright, 4.1-inch WVGA touchscreen mated to an incredibly thin 9.9mm package. Toshiba managed to cram a full feature-set that includes GPS, wifi, 3G data connectivity, and a microsd card slot into a crazy-thin body, highlighting the company’s progress in smartphone design and manufacture. Look for the Toshiba TG01 to drop in the second half of 2009.
